This time, the funding comes from the Canada Council for the Arts’ Touring and Circulation Program. This support will allow us to begin implementing the first stage of the Impact and Distribution Campaign we have been developing for several months with the five activists who are the main protagonists of the film.

During this first stage, we aim to bring Bodies in Crisis to broad audiences through our targeted international film festival strategy. At the same time, we are working to reach both rural and urban communities in Chile and other countries. To this end, we have been collaborating with key individuals and organizations that have invited us to screen the film in their communities. Together, we are planning post-screening activities, including audience dialogues, panel discussions, and other opportunities for collective reflection and exchange.

As part of our outreach and promotional plan, we will be launching the film’s Instagram account in the coming days. Through this platform, alongside our website and newsletter, we will share excerpts from the film, introduce the creative team, highlight the stories of the five activists, and showcase the organizations that are part of this initiative. We will also provide updates on the support, funding, recognitions, and festival participation that continue to accompany the journey of Bodies in Crisis, as well as relevant news, articles, and resources related to the issues explored in the film.

We are deeply grateful for the trust and support that this grant represents. As we move into this new phase, we look forward to creating meaningful encounters around the film, fostering dialogue across diverse communities, and contributing to ongoing conversations about democracy, human rights, social justice, and collective action. We invite you to follow our journey and be part of the growing community surrounding Bodies in Crisis.
